According to a bill passed by the state legislature elementary school children in Florida will be educated according to their special needs.  Dr. Cecil Miller, special education teacher, has helped to conceptualize the law.

Dr. Lewis Goldstein demonstrates the battery powered larynx developed at the Veterans Administration Hospital to Cal Oliver, mechanical engineering professor, Howard Rothman, a speech professor, and  Steve Hiller, a former UF student, who is conducting similar research at the University of California.  The advantage of this device is that it is hand free.
