Notes: "In 1950 W. A. Dwiggins designed this mark for Herbert W. Simpson, for some productions that never came to pass. It has appeared only once, in a Simpson-WAD calendar of 29 press runs and colors. Quoting Simpson: "Feather Vender is a wry twist to the term Feather Merchant, i.e. one with large and nebulous plans that fail to materialize, Simpson to wit."" © James Lamar Weygand
