Notes: "John DePol's press takes its name from the use of end-grain boxwood in wood-engraving. It was begun in 1951, operating on Saturdays and Sundays to keep out of the comp's way. Its pressmark was cut on wood by John DePol, the eminent wood engraver, who has provided many a private pressman with a device that he can call his own." © James Lamar Weygand | |||
