Florida Government Documents

at the University of Florida

The P.K. Yonge Library of Florida History holds printed reports of Florida state cabinet officers and printed records of the activities of the state legislature.

Complete reports from 1845 to the present are available for the offices of attorney general, comptroller, treasurer, commissioner of agriculture, and for most reports produced by the offices of secretary of state and commissioner of education.

The library has a complete run of the journals of the Florida House and Senate.  A collection of the Laws of Florida is maintained through 1945.  Researchers seeking more recent material or the Florida Statutes should contact the University of Florida Law Library or Main Library.

Except for these core historical documents, the Yonge Library does not attempt in any way to duplicate the holdings of state documents preserved by the Law Library or the Government Documents Department of the University Libraries.
