Florida Fiction

at the University of Florida

With a focus primarily in history, the P.K. Yonge Library does not collect extensively in fiction.  However, holdings do include a representative sample of Florida authors and literature about Florida; this consists of approximately 500 titles.

Researchers should be aware that, in addition to the limited resources in P.K. Yonge, the Department of Special Collections does have a major children's literature collection, the Baldwin Library, and also curates manuscripts and papers of several important Florida authors, including Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, Zora Neale Hurston, and John D.
