indios e Caboclos – 1990

Summary:  a poster produced for an exhibit at the Grinter Gallery from Nov. 9-Dec. 14, 1990 showing selected photographic prints from the Charles Wagley Collection.  The Exhibit went on tour for three years with the final one at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.  The 1940 photo reproduced on the poster generated a lot of publicity because of the nudity of one of the two Indian men pictured.

Summary:  A leaflet, which is folded in half, which presents information about "The Writing on the Wall Project".  For a week students, staff, and faculty wrote prejudicial statements on the cement block wall which had been constructed on the Plaza of the Americas.  On January 31, 2003 it was ceremoniously torn down after addresses by two guest speakers.
